Green Mountain not so Green

The growth in popularity of Keurig’s single-serve coffee pods has been tremendous over the last couple of years. Green Mountain, the company behind the movement however hasn’t been able to live up to its sake name. The single serve cups are not recycle and in many ways cause a lot of trouble if they are thrown into recycle bins.
A hugely popular company such as Green Mountain should find a way to make recyclable cups and lead the way in eco-friendly serving products or they should lose the “Green” from their name.
